On the 8th of March 2016, I was invited to take part in the Plusnet Pioneers panel discussion in partnership with StartUps, giving advice and our experience on sourcing funding, which took place at the Custard Factory in Birmingham.
It was announced on Monday 16th of January that Jordan had been included in the popular American magazine Forbes. He was named as one of the 30 under 30 industry honouree in Europe
On Saturday, the GripIt Great Gatsby Charity Ball was held in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. It took place at Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort and had over 140 guests.
Jordan and some of the staff at GripIt attended the World Alzheimer’s Day ball on Wednesday 21st of September.
Dragons’ Den Business GripIt Fixings and Jordan Daykin make it 15th on The Suns List Best of British Awards
The Sun released yesterday their article for the Best of British Awards.
The staff at GripIt have taken on the GripIt Baked Bean Challenge, having a bucket full with baked beans, flours, eggs, feathers and glitter chucked over their head, raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society!
It came as a shock receiving the email named “Jordan Daykin has been verified. Now people will see a blue badge next to your name.”
Jordan sits on the other side of the Panel as a Dragon at Swindon College on the 13th June.
Jordan decided to get the public involved with the expansion of GripIt by Crowdfunding with Crowdcube.
Jordan featured on BBC Dragon Den’s Piches to Riches follow up show with GripIt on the 28th February 2016. Jordan was joined by all the production team from the programme, Deborah herself and Richard Osman the presenter for the show.
