The GripIt Great Gatsby Charity Ball in Aid of The Alzheimer’s Society

On Saturday, the GripIt Great Gatsby Charity Ball was held in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. It took place at Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort and had over 140 guests. The night was to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society a charity close to Jordan and the Staff at GripIt.
After much stress of arranging and preparing for the evening, it went perfect the venue looked stunning with drapes from the ceiling, chair covers and sashes down to the little touches of boxes of cakes for favours and a pack of 2 GripIt’s saying thank you from Jordan.

All guests had a great time raising money and awareness for such a great cause, Jordan is overwhelmed by the support given from Friends, Family, Staff, Suppliers and Stockists.
It came as a shock when Stan Jordan’s Grandad, Co – Founder of GripIt was diagnosed with the illness back last year, losing his memory and not being able to remember things that were and are so special. However, Stan is doing well with the help and support of his family, he is also overwhelmed by the support everyone has given. Stan joined everyone at the event on Saturday and was so impressed with Jordan and the team.

On the evening a live auction and raffle took place where people could bid on items up for sale and they also a chance to buy raffle tickets at the beginning and throughout dinner. In the auction was prizes such as an IPad, Dyson hoover, stay at a luxury caravan, flying experience, clay pigeon shooting with the GB team, 5-star photoshoot, sales day training and dinner at a top hotel in London with Deborah Meaden. All the prizes went down well and were all bided on.

In total the team have raised a great amount of over £13,500. Jordan has loved being involved in the charity and has now became an ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society, which is a great pleasure as this is something that means a lot to him. The evening was a great hit with everyone and the team have already been asked about the next event. Therefore, it looks like the event will become a yearly thing.

And we are very much looking forward to starting to plan the next!
